大阪公立大学大学院医学研究科 形成外科学 准教授
形成外科医・頭蓋顎顔面外科医として、顔面領域を中心に診療・研究・教育に携わっています。特に、顎変形症に対する顎矯正手術、顔面骨骨折などの顔面外傷、頭蓋顎顔面再建、顔面輪郭形成など、顔の骨格に関わる外科治療を専門としています。また、形成外科の知識と技術を基盤として、美容外科診療にも携わっています。

I am a plastic and craniofacial surgeon specializing primarily in surgery of the facial skeleton. My clinical, research, and educational activities focus on craniofacial and maxillofacial surgery, including orthognathic surgery for dentofacial deformities, treatment of facial fractures and trauma, craniofacial reconstruction, and facial contouring surgery. Based on my training and experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, I am also involved in aesthetic surgery.
Through this website, “Dr. Morotomi | Plastic, Reconstructive & Craniofacial Surgery,” I provide information on plastic and reconstructive surgery, craniofacial and maxillofacial surgery, and aesthetic surgery based on medical knowledge and clinical experience.
For the general public, I aim to explain medical conditions and surgical treatments in an accessible and understandable manner. I also cover more specialized topics for healthcare professionals, including surgical techniques, medical literature, research, and emerging medical technologies.
